After a nice rest, I am excited to return to another year of writing about public transport for About.com. I start off the New Year with a profile of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority . With 1 out of every 3 transit riders in the United States riding in New York, it is a huge system and the only one that can compare with some of the international transit heavyweights.
